We believe in using natural, whole plant essences to improve the feel and texture of your skin. Our co-founder and formulator, April Bednarski, PhD, holds her doctorate in medicinal chemistry and has researched each of the ingredients in our products.

“I started to create my own skin care products because I had a hard time finding what I wanted on the market.” says Bednarski. “There were so many sunscreen products that included ingredients I knew from my research to be harmful.”

Working to perfect each formulation, Bednarski uses natural plant essences to put the power of the whole plant to work for your skin. “Scientists have tried to isolate active parts of plant extracts in the lab, but find the individual components to be less active. It is often the synergistic effect of multiple components in plants that result in their healing and protective strength.”

We believe in clean skincare and our mantra is “Feel Great In The Skin You’re In”! Our commitment and values has led us to create a sustainable skincare company that supports and lives in harmony with the environment. For that reason, a portion of our revenues each year is donated to the Sierra Club, Arbor Day Foundation and other organizations who support and protect our National Parks.
